Terms and Conditions

• All pieces that are accepted for publication will be published in print and online where possible.
• Pieces may be accepted for future publication instead of for the next print edition, at which point it will be stored in the backlog. We will contact you and ask permission to store your work if this is the case.
• Pieces previously published elsewhere are acceptable as submissions; however, we ask that you let us know the names of previous publications. Please make sure that you still own the rights to your piece before you submit.
• All authors/artists retain rights to their work after publication.
• You cannot withdraw a piece once the submissions window has closed. This will happen two weeks before the distribution of an edition, and will be widely publicised on this website and on Kamena's associated social media pages.
• Although unlikely, we retain the right to reject submissions at any point in the process. We reserve the right to reject without offering feedback.
• Explicit photography (nudity, violence, etc) is not accepted.
• We do not accept any work using generative AI.
